BAS records
BAS record keeping app for Australian sole traders
InvBAS helps Australian sole traders organise the records that often sit behind BAS review: invoice sales, business expenses, GST amounts, owner drawings, personal super notes, and local backups.
What BAS record keeping means in InvBAS
InvBAS is designed for record organisation, not lodgement. The app keeps the everyday records a small operator enters during the year and presents summaries that can help with review before a user checks their own BAS obligations or speaks with a qualified adviser.
The workflow is intentionally local and focused. Users can create invoice records, enter business expenses, keep owner drawings separate, and review GST/BAS period summaries from the information they have entered.
Records that support a BAS review
- Invoice records for sales, customer details, paid status, and invoice PDFs.
- Expense records and GST credit amounts entered by the user.
- GST/BAS summaries based on app records for the selected period.
- Owner drawings kept separate from business expenses.
- Personal super contribution notes and notice status.
- Manual backup and import files controlled by the user.
Useful for quarterly review habits
A sole trader often needs to know what has been invoiced, what has been paid, what expenses were entered, and whether owner drawings have been mixed into expense records. InvBAS keeps these records visible in one app so the review can start from a cleaner set of information.
The BAS summary view is based on the user's own entries. It should be treated as a record review aid, not as a formal BAS calculation service, BAS agent service, accounting service, or government lodgement pathway.
Local-first and exportable
Current records stay on your iPhone unless you export, back up, email, or share them through system services. Manual backup and import are available for users who want their own copy of the data or need to move records.
What InvBAS does not do
InvBAS does not lodge BAS, submit tax returns, connect to the Australian Taxation Office, provide tax advice, provide BAS agent services, or decide whether an amount is deductible or claimable. Users remain responsible for checking their own obligations.
