Record keeping app Australia
Small business record keeping app for Australia
InvBAS is a local-first iPhone app for Australian sole traders and small businesses that want invoices, expenses, GST/BAS summaries, owner drawings, and personal super notes in one focused place.
Focused records instead of a heavy accounting suite
Some small businesses do not want to run a large accounting platform for every simple record. InvBAS focuses on the records that a sole trader commonly checks during the year: invoices sent, money received, supplier expenses, GST amounts, owner drawings, and personal super contribution notes.
The goal is practical record organisation. InvBAS is not a tax agent, accounting service, BAS agent, government portal, payroll system, or bank feed product.
Records InvBAS is built around
- Customer and invoice records for work billed to clients.
- Invoice PDF previews and sharing from iPhone.
- Business expenses and GST credit amounts entered by the user.
- GST/BAS period summaries based on app records.
- Owner drawings kept separate from business expenses.
- Personal super contribution notes and notice status.
- Manual backup and import for user-controlled record movement.
Local-first by default
Current app records are stored on the device. There is no InvBAS login and no custom InvBAS cloud account in this version. Users can still choose to export, back up, email, or share records through system services when they need their own copy.
Clear boundaries for Australian users
InvBAS helps organise records only. It does not lodge BAS, submit tax returns, connect to the Australian Taxation Office, calculate legal obligations for you, or provide tax, BAS, accounting, legal, financial, business, or superannuation advice.
Common questions
What records can InvBAS help organise?
InvBAS helps organise invoice records, expense records, GST/BAS summaries, owner drawings, personal super contribution notes, customers, and manual backup files.
Are records stored in an InvBAS cloud account?
No. Current InvBAS records are stored locally on the user's device unless the user exports, backs up, emails, or shares them through system services.
